Childrens Book #Review #BibleBelles The Adventure of Rooney Cruz #FlyBy

*I received the product in this post for free for purposes of review.  All opinions expressed are my own.

Check it Out!  It's hard to find superheros that girls can be proud of.  But there is an original children's series that presents real life heroes like you have never seen before.  This series highlights five superhero women of the Bible:  Hannah, Esther, Abigail, Ruth and Deborah.
Bible Belles' The Adventure of Rooney Cruz is presenting women in the Bible in a whole new way.  Showing girls characters they can connect with, this series is all about encouraging girls to remember how special they are, to remember their names and to remember their stories.

I recently received the opportunity to review the second book in the series, Esther:The Belle of Patience.

Bible Belle's Esther: The Belle of Patience from Bible Belles on Vimeo.

This book is full of beautiful full color illustrations that bring the adventures of Rooney to life.  Learning that there is a right time for things, can be a hard lesson.  And in this story Rooney learns that the power of prayer and patience can pay off.
Follow along with Rooney as she deals with problems and finds solutions through the stories of true super hero women of the Bible.

You can get more info on this and all the books in the Bible Belles series HERE.

*I received the product in this post for purposes of review and sharing.  All opinions are my own.

The Legend of the Easter Robin: An Easter Story of Compassion and Faith

About the Book:

In the center of the nest lay one perfect egg, the color of a spring sky. The father robin sat on a branch nearby, guarding his family. Tressa spotted raccoon tracks below and a blue jay eyeing the nest. “Gran, how are we going to keep the egg safe?” “We’ll have to leave that one to the Creator,” Gran said. Robins have built a nest on the window ledge at Grandmother’s house! Tressa is thrilled―and concerned. What will happen to the sky-blue egg laid by the mother robin? As more eggs appear, Tressa witnesses the daily drama of the robins’ nest and learns how God cares for all creatures. Besides watching the birds, there are Easter eggs to color. And there is a very special story to hear―a tale of long ago about one small bird with a very big heart. How did the robin get its red breast? Tressa is about to find out as Gran tells her the story of the Easter robin. Brought to life with colorful, tender illustrations, The Legend of the Easter Robin will captivate and teach your child about compassion and faith.

Check it out!  Having really long hair can be a lot of work.  I know this because currently my hair is waist length.  It's naturally wavy so I get the frizzies really easy. There are so many factors that can make it worse too, from the weather to styling products.  The main thing I have to do is condition, condition, condition to keep it dry and soft.

@MickeyMatson: The Pirate's Code DVD review #PiratesCode #FlyBy

*I received this product for purposes of review.  All opinions expressed are my own.

Check it Out!  In today's world it is getting harder and harder to find kid friendly movies.  I mean bad language seems to be in every movie lately.  But if you are looking for a kid friendly, clean language action packed movie, you will want to check out Pirate's Code: The Adventures of Mickey Matson.
In the follow up to Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Treasure you will find Mickey back in the heart of adventure!  This time he is up against an evil pirate!  Admiral Ironsides and his gang of pirates want to destroy civilization and it's up to Mickey and his best friend Sully to save the world.  They get the help of a secret organization to stop these evil pirates against using their new invention, the Tesla Coil.  This Tesla Coil is a weapon on mass destruction and with it the pirates could create mass destruction.  If admiral Ironsides evil plan succeeds, the world will be sent back into the stone age.
With a message of teamwork and believing in yourself and your abilities, this movie is sure to be a hit with kids and a great way to spend a summer evening!  Add in pirate themed decorations and you have one super fun and adventurous party!
This movie is 91 minutes with an NR rating.

You can get more info on the official website HERE as well as Facebook HERE.  Be sure and follow along on Twitter as well @MickeyMatson.
