The Mustard Seed

About the Book:
THIS IS AN UPLIFTING STORY ABOUT THE OVERWHELMING POWER OF FAITH.

Sara, a ten-year-old girl in a small country town, startles her family when she inexplicably begins to heal others afflicted with fatal conditions, making her overnight an unlikely media celebrity.  As if that weren’t enough, she insists all the while that the healing was done not by her but by Jesus, whom she sees walking on a lake!
But was she really alone in seeing Jesus?
As the story unfolds, Sara’s life takes an unexpected twist that bewilders her entire community.
Besides being a compelling read, Sara’s story makes for an exhilarating spiritual experience.

My Review:

This story captured me from the beginning and I found myself reading it in one day.  Being pulled into the story of Sara and the amazing ability that she develops, I found myself unable to stop reading until I knew how it ended.  And I can honestly say, there were many parts of this story that filled my body with chills.  Yes I got the chills and I shed a few tears.
Sara Hopkins has amazing faith in God for a small child and that faith leads her to experience and share God's touch.  With her faith, she touches and changes the small town of White Dove.

"I think Jesus comes to everyone.  But we have to see Him in our own way, don't we?"

Filled with well thought out characters, detailed scenes and an ending that will leave you thinking about it for days, The Mustard Seed is a must read. This book would also make a great gift!
