Exclusive Buy 1 lb Get 1 lb FREE of Mrs. Cavanaugh's Chocolates Offer @mrscavanaughs @usfg

*I received information and a product for purposes of review.  All opinions expressed are my own.

Check it Out!  I love chocolate!  Not afraid to say it!  I really love me some chocolate!  And I love to try different brands and kinds, because there really is no such thing as enough chocolate!
I am super excited to be able to try a brand I have never tried before,  Mrs. Cavanaugh's!

Here is a little history about Mrs. Cavanaugh's Candies.

Time was when Marie Cavanaugh spent hours in her South Dakota farmhouse each Christmas season making pecan rolls and homemade chocolates for holiday gifting.

"It started when my aunt sent her pecan-rolls recipe," Mrs. Cavanaugh recalled. "I gave the recipe my own touch and started making the yummy specialties. Then I began dipping chocolates. Our friends and neighbors loved these treats, encouraging me to start a candy business. Finally, I decided it might be a good idea.'"

Her husband George and children Carla, Lorraine, Calvin, Colene and Genise rallied, helping Mrs. Cavanaugh fill demands for her homemade sweets.

...In 1972, the family moved to Utah, leaving good friends and their beloved cattle ranch.

"It was a difficult decision, especially for George," Mrs. Cavanaugh said. "He was excited about making our new venture, which we chose to call Mrs. Cavanaugh's Candies, a great success. We felt Utah was blessed with good chocolates and that we would enjoy - and could compete with - those who pride themselves on making excellent chocolates."

Millions of pounds of chocolates later, Mrs. Cavanaugh's candies have earned a reputation for unquestionable excellence....
Ask chocolate aficionados. They will direct those seeking the best chocolates to the popular Mrs. Cavanaugh's Candies."

Product Review: Helping Hand #helpinghand

*I received this product for free for purposes of review, however all opinions are my own.

Check it Out!  Who doesn't need a helping hand sometimes?  I know I do! I recently experienced a little fender bender while messing with my phone in the car. Fortunately the damage was very minor but I have learned my lesson. No more digging around looking for it.  I needed somewhere to put it each time I get in the car.
Thanks to I-Stand, Inc I now have the solution to my problem. It's called the Helping Hand.

The Helping Hand is a uniquely designed product that will hold your phone or tablet securely in place. Made from ABS plastic the heavy duty base comes with a washable sticky pad. The base is sturdy and fits just about anywhere, including the car!  It can be used in so many situations and can even be used to help make a video. Just turn the Helping Hand on it's side and stick the phone to it. You can now film without having to hold the phone and it's a nice stable base.

I really love this product and I found so many places to use it!  In the kitchen and bathrooms, great for keeping the phone up off the counter and out of danger of water and other messes.  In the craft room, laundry room and even outside!  It keeps the phone propped up so you can see it and even use it.  The sticky pad is amazing too!  It's super sticky but it's not messy sticky.  The whole product is easy to clean. And with no movable or breakable parts, it's super tough and easy to move around.
The Helping Hand is available in black or white and would make a great gift idea!
You can head over to Amazon HERE to get more info and order for yourself. You can also check them out on Facebook.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Product Review: Serafino Artisan Series 12 oz. Double Wall Glasses by Ozeri

*I received this product for free, however all opinions are my own.

Check it Out!  I love coffee and I drink it pretty much all morning.  Once I have had my fill of coffee, I switch to water and then drink that for the rest of the day.  With 5 people home all day long, the cups can really build up so I get one cup and use it all day long.   The rest of my family prefers those really large cups that hold like a ton of drink, but I myself prefer a smaller cup.
Other than the issue of always having a sink full of cups, my other issue with my family and drinkware is the rings that are left on my furniture from the condensation on the glasses.  No matter how often you tell them to use a coaster, they just don't and alas another water ring is left!  So when I recently got the opportunity to review a set of double wall glasses I knew I wanted to check them out.
I received a set of Serafino Artisan Series 12 oz. Double Wall Glasses by Ozeri.  Not only are these some really stylish looking glasses but they are very functional.  These glasses are made of heat resistant, mouth blown borosilicate glass that is of the finest quality.  Borosilicate glass is stronger than common glass and shatter resistant.  They are also resistant to acid and are oven, microwave and freezer safe.
These glasses are durable and are designed to stay cool to the touch, even with the hottest drinks.  They also resist that pesky condensation with chilled drinks.  Each glass also features a wrap around contour that provides a natural comfortable grip.

I love the look of these glasses, so modern and innovative.  The liquid is literally suspended inside the glass and they do indeed fit quite nicely in the hand.  I have replaced my coffee cup with this glass because it stays cool to the touch with even the hottest coffee and I love not having to hold it by a handle.  It's easier to grip and easier to carry around.  Less spilling too!  And for cold drinks?  No more water rings!  These glasses do not sweat, there is no condensation on the outside of the glass!  I now use these glasses all day everyday, one in the morning and one for the rest of the day.  And since my daughter drinks water a lot, she uses one too!  These glasses would be perfect for serving guests too.  A great conversation piece for sure!  And they would make a great gift.
You can get more information and order some for yourself on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D19SSE2.  They come in sets of 4.

Product Review: Smartypants Tavern Puzzle

*Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.  All opinions and photos are my own.

Check it Out!  I have always loved puzzles!  From jigsaw puzzles to computer puzzles and all kinds in between, I love the challenge of a good puzzle.  I recently got a new puzzle to check out and this is a very cool and unique puzzle.  I received the Smartypants Tavern Puzzle.

Tavern Puzzles are reproductions of antique wrought iron puzzles like those that were traditionally found in country taverns and inns.  All handcrafted of steel by a museum trained blacksmith right here in the USA, Tavern Puzzles are each mechanical in nature.  There is no force needed.  There are no tricks.  Just old fashioned problem solving!  The puzzles are solved when the object piece is removed.  But it isn't truly mastered until the object piece is then returned to it's starting place.  So each one is really like 2 puzzles in one!
There are 8 different groups of Tavern Puzzles ranging from basic to complex.  Basic puzzles have just a few steps.  The amount of steps grows with each group along with the difficulty.

So this is the Smartypants puzzle.  This puzzle is in group 4 and is in the Intermediate/Difficult level.  The object to be removed on this puzzle is the circle piece.  I spent quite a lot of time working on this the first day I got it and will admit defeat.  I do however have a son that we consider a smartypants and thrives on solving puzzles like this, so of course he wanted to give it a try.  He was successful in getting the circle off, but getting it back on to it's original position proved to be more difficult.  He finally got it though.
The quality of this puzzle is amazing.  The pieces are all smooth, no burrs or sharp pieces and well made.  It really is a beautiful piece of work, almost like a piece of art.  My kids enjoyed trying to solve it as well as us adults and I have found it to be a great conversation piece.
Each Tavern Puzzle comes in it's own drawstring cloth bag along with an information sheet that lets you know what the object piece is.  However, you do not get the solution!  At first I was like, WHAT?  But then the more I thought about it, I realized that without having it right on hand, you work harder and think harder to solve it.  But the solution is available by going on-line or by requesting a printed copy so if you absolutely can not figure it out, you can get it.  These puzzles also all have a hanger loop on them so you can display them if desired.  You can purchase a variety of display stands or mounts at www.TavernPuzzle.com where you can also see and purchase all of the puzzles available.  They have sets available as well.
Tavern Puzzles are suitable for ages 13 to 113 and would make excellent gifts for children and adults alike.  They are also great for homeschool families as they are challenging and help to strengthen problem solving in kids.

*I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

#TBCCrafters - Moving Survival Gift

Check it Out!  I haven't lived in my neighborhood very long, but my neighbors are amazing and I have gotten to know pretty much all of them extremely well since I have been here.  I have one neighbor, Denise that I just adore!  She is an amazing woman and has been a God-Send to me, so when I found out that she will be moving away to Florida, I knew I wanted to give her a special Going Away gift.  After considering the different options and weighing in my financial situation, I went with a handmade gift.  Wanting it to be useful, because we all know how frustrating moving is and how when already dealing with mounds of boxes and stuff, you just don't really need more "Stuff", I decided to make her a Movers Survival Gift Basket.

There are a ton of great things you can include in a basket like this, but here are the items I included:
  • monogrammed basket
  • monogrammed notepad
  • sharpie marker
  • water bottle
  • hair bands
  • hand sanitizer
  • keychain
  • candy
  • small sewing kit
  • handmade card
I picked up the basket, marker, notepad and candy at the dollar store.  I added the monogram letter to the front of the basket with a paint pen and I used the same paper crafting kit that I made the card with to decorate the hand sanitizer bottle and a frosting container for the candy.  I also decorated a medicine bottle for the "mending kit" with a tag that said "For those little mends" and a tag to the keychain that said "Wishing you Happiness in your new home" and a tag to candy container that said "For Energy".

Since I plan to keep in touch with Denise I decided that I didn't want to say Goodbye, just So long so I decorated the card and added my sentiments to the inside along with the saying "Whatever way our stories end, I know you'll have rewritten mine by being my friend." I really love how it turned it out and she said she cried when she got it so I think she liked it to! lol
I am so going to miss her but when she is the kind of friend that no matter the distance will always be there!
