Using MyMemories Software to Customize your Bookmarks

1. Download template file and install it into your software
2. Using MyMemories Suite, choose Create Album From Designer Template and find your project
3. Now you can print and enjoy the provided template, or customize it with your own papers and embellishments.

Party Bags Tutorial
1. Print your Purse Card templates on cardstock and gather supplies. Be sure to set your margins as close to 0 as possible.
(Recommended supplies: small craft scissors, bone folder, glue runner)



2. Using the scissors cut along inside of handles.



3. Fold bag at fold lines.
There should be a total of 6 folds.
TIP: Using a bone folder will help you get crisp edges on your project.


4. Using scissors, cut along outside edge.



5. Lay the bag flat, printed side down.
Fold up the tabs at the bottom of the bag, so that you can see the printing.
Apply Glue to the tabs on the printed side



6. Bring the side of the bag up and adhere the tab to the bottom of the bag.



7. Repeat on other side.



8. Lay the bag down, and apply glue to the last tab.



9. Attach the remaining side.
TIP: Insert your hand into the bag to ensure that all the tabs are securely attached.



10. Enjoy your Bag! You can fill it with all kinds of goodies or treats.
TIP: You can take the front and back and press them together to make side seams.



TIP:
You can right-click on the white guide and lock it in place to keep it from moving while you are working. Make sure this is the top layer of your project before printing.
Instead of adding the paper as a background paper, you can add it as an embellishment so that you can move the paper around. This is especially useful when using papers with stripes or circles, so you can decide which part of the paper you want to use.
Once it is added as an embellishment, you can now select the paper and move it into the position you want it.
Just SAVE and PRINT on cardstock. Fold it up following the lines to create your photobox.

Check it Out!  It has been the longest 56 days since my home burned to the ground and living in an extended stay hotel is really no fun.  One of the hardest adjustments is laundry.  I have gone from having my own washer & dryer and washing clothes EVERY day to owning the bare minimum and having to go to the laundromat once a week.  Not only is it expensive but a pain in the butt!!  Hot too!

Well this week has been a real test as well...my hubby is in the hospital and is having surgery tomorrow so it has been super stressful this week.

Well today when I went and picked up my mail I was super happy to see a few boxes, things I have been expecting and one box that I was not expecting.

Above is what was in that box and when I opened it, I was blown away!  Just look at all these fabulous Purex products that the wonderful folks at Purex Insiders and Zooka Creative Marketing sent me!

 

Like I said, I was blown away and I cried.  Yes, cried, because I am so moved that they did this for me!  When you have very little, things like this really make me giddy and knowing that my laundry needs are taking care of is such a relief...too bad I still have to go to the laundromat!!

Product Review: AnytimeCostumes Harry Potter Slytherin Robe

Check it Out!  While in the process of making out my inventory sheets for all my personal property, I have begun to realize just all that we have lost, including all of our holiday stuff!  With Halloween creeping up, I thought about all of our costumes and my daughter Tori was so upset that she lost all of her Harry Potter costume stuff.  In case you didn't know, Victoria LOVES Harry Potter and in fact dressed at Harry Potter last Halloween.
I recently got the opportunity to review costumes via AnytimeCostumes and when I found the Slytherin Robe on their site, I knew that was what we wanted to check out.  It comes in an adult standard size that fit perfectly!

 

See Victoria is a super Harry Potter fan and has always wanted a Slytherin robe!  The real ones with the crest on it were always so expensive so she just had a graduation gown we made into a robe.  Yeah she dealt with it, but this robe...she loves! 

 

 

She loves it so much that she now wears it everyday!  No kidding!  My daughter has always been a child who doesn't care about fashion and what everyone else is doing so yep, she wears it to the grocery store and everywhere!  Yes, we get some looks and a few "is it Halloween already" comments, but she doesn't care!  Thankfully this robe is a good quality product and so far is holding up to so much wear!  It comes with a clip to hold it together in the front that is completely removable so washing will be easy too.

 

 

Victoria loves that it is the perfect length and that the hoodie is pointed like the ones in the books.  I love that is is good quality, easy to wash and makes her happy!

Product Review: Neuma Blow Dry Lotion, Smoothing Creme & Texturizer

Check it Out!  I love hair products and I am forever in search of those perfect products for my hair.  I have really long hair so I am prone to drying out and split ends, so I was super excited to get to try out some new products via Hair Care USA!
I received a .25oz sample packet of Neuma Blow Dry Lotion, Smoothing Creme & Style Texturizer as well as a 2.5 oz Blow Dry Lotion and a 2.5oz. Smoothing Creme.


I first tried the Neuma Blow Dry Lotion and I love it!  It isn't my favorite smell going on but the benefits far outweigh the smell.  It left my hair soft, workable and very shiny!  My hair was manageable and there was no frizz, my favorite part!
Neuma Blow Dry Lotion is unique in that it contains:
Phyto Colour Complex: A gentle, natural surfactant system that removes environmental pollutants, not colour, from hair. Plant extracts restore natural health and shine while maximizing colour retention and extending colour life.
and I found out that the Aroma is provided by pure essential oils of Lavender, Mandarin Orange, Vanilla - true aromatherapy!  I am new at the aromatherapy thing so I can go with that, especially when it left my hair is such great shape that lasted all day and through the next day also.
I don't blow dry my hair every day, but when I do, I will be using this first!


I really like the Neuma Smoothing Creme as well.  My son DJ has thick and when long, curly hair like mine and he refuses to get a haircut right now so some mornings we are greated by a very frizzy headed kid!  With just a little of this Smoothing Creme, we are able to tame the frizz and curl and get out the door with a good lookin' head of hair. 
I used it myself on the ends of my hair that tend to get frizzy after brushing my hair out and it works wonderfully to tame the frizz and flyaways.  I really like that it contains an exclusive blend of plant nutrients, which protects colour from UVA & UVB oxidation.


I also really like the Neuma Style Texturizer that is light but allows it to be touchable, mangeable and all the while holding the style it was set in.  You can literally mold and remold your style and it fights the humidity to hold it.  Great stuff!
