Well, what do you think about this assortment? 

Like I said, I will not be using the tea, although I will admit to being drawn to the Organic Mint Melange and after smelling the mint through the package, I attempted a cup of tea.  Yep, still don't like tea, no offense to any company or person, it's just a personal preferance and I prefer to not drink tea- hot or cold! 

I also won't be using the Mercy as I am not an alcohol drinker and see no benefit to me by using it.  I do however know a few peeps I can share this with!   

I do love the lip treats, so smooth and long lasting, Mereadesso makes quality products that you just can't go wrong with.  And I also like the NYX mascara, although I didn't get a super Faux Lash look, it seemed to work better on the lower lashes at actually extending and it was long lasting.  I am using the Puristics Intensive Eye Treatment each morning and night on my very fine crows feet in hopes of keeping them from becoming not so fine anymore!  I'll have to let you know how that goes after some testing time.

As a homeschool mom, I am always trying to be conscious that my kids are getting the education they need but in a way that allows them to actual learn it.  As a mom of 3 kids I have learned that all kids learn differently and I have 3 totally different learners on my hands! 

We have used about 3 online learning programs and this year we are trying something new, Time4Learning.com.  We are well over halfway through the year and my kids and I are loving it! 

So what makes Time 4 Learning so different?  Well it combines the learning your kids need in a fun interactive way.  With animated lessons that will actually keep your kids attention brought to them at their pace, as they are ready for them, each child can learn without all the frustration of being pushed through it.  There are printable worksheets and activities along the way that help with lessons and to keep your kids motivated.

My Review:

There are two things that I find the most daunting about homeschool.  The first is math, I plain out suck at it and the second is foreign languages.  Well I now have that area covered with books by Carolyn Woods.  Lightening Fast Spanish for Kids and Families is amazing!  It is the easiest concept that I never thought of and it's all laid out in this fab book! 

I have to admit that my kids weren't nearly excited to learn a new language and we have actually been working on spanish with workbooks and audio tapes, but it is always the same things, either too boring or too complicated.  Although we have mastered counting 1-10, this book is gonna help this family learn in an easy way that can actually be used everyday! 

Although I took 2 years of Spanish in high school myself, it's been awhile and I sadly did not retain all of my knowledge so I am in essence relearning with my kids and it's great!  Using this book you will find conversations that can be used in everyday situations.  This isn't the kind of book that you sit and read and book mark the page you left off on, unless you really want to, but you can pick this up and choose a conversation or activity to take you through a day or even a week.  If you really think about it, isn't that how your kids learned English?  By being spoken to and having words repeated until they are in their memory.  Using a language is the only way to learn it, and making it fun keeps it interesting.  I can do that with this book and I now feel more confident that I can teach foreign languages to my kids and myself!

My Review:
Simple Secrets to a Happy Life is a great book that I found to be full of common sense.  I love many of Luci's 50 Tips for leading a simply happy life and making the most of everyday.  She gives you this advice in 50 short and sweet chapters, where she shares stories or bible scriptures.  I love that this book can be read all the way through or you could leave it out and read them for some quick inspiration and even a reminder for yourself to life a happy life.  I found three tips that have become my faves:
#2 - Be on time for everything
#21- Build yourself a small library
#40- Celebrate the life your given
I already practice the first one, but I sure wish more people did, I am working on the second and I do the third everyday.  This is a great book to give as a gift to someone who is feeling depressed or lonely as it's full of simple ways to live happy and fulfilled.  2 Thumbs Up!

Check it Out!  I love to share that I am in love with my new Nissan!  About 10 months ago I bought the 2011 Nissan Quest and it's one of the best purchases that I have ever made!  The only thing better is my Habitat for Humanity home! 

Some of you may know that my family and I are Habitat recipients and as a matter of fact this year will be our 10 year anniversary in our home! 

Following the 2005 hurricane season, which brought the devestating Rita and Katrina hurricanes, Nissan and Habitat for Humanity teamed up to build affordable, sustainable homes for people in need.  And they have been doing an awesome job, so far they have:

* donated $7.5 million in grant money and donations to HFH

*built 50 homes

My Thrifty Ross Trip

Check it Out!  I just love going to Ross.  Not only do they have awesome prices on name brand clothes but you can find the best deals on kitchen and home items.  Today I got a chance to stop in and check out the deal I found! 

I got these Jessica Simpson shoes for a whopping $2.99!  Originally priced at $24.99 and sold in other stores for $79.

And they are cute!

I also picked up this nice sized HOME sign for only $5!  Did I tell you I love Ross?  Oh, yeah!

Oh and because you can't go by the Dollar Tree without stopping, I popped in and look at all the cute shirts I found for my little buddy Champ:
