Check it Out! I am so super stoked to have been chosen to join the Jimmy Dean Blogger Community and I have accepted the Jimmy Dean Recipe Challenge! I LOVE sausage so this challenge is right up my alley! I can think of a million different ways to use sausage and I believe it is not just for breakfast!
For this challenge I received coupons to purchase some Jimmy Dean Fully cooked Sausage Crumbles and a gift card to get the ingredients I need to come up with some awesome dishes! Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles come in Original Pork Sausage flavor as well as Turkey and Hot & Spicy flavors. These pre-cooked packages can be found in the sausage section of your local store and each bag is equivalent to a 16 oz package of sausage. I absolutely love the ease of this product. Super quick to make and the options are endless as to what you can cook and eat them with.
I have already come up with a couple of recipes that I am dying to try them in and first up is for dinner. We were having baked potatoes last night for supper and I always have to add cheese to mine cause I just don't like my potatoes plain. It hit me that these sausage crumbles would be awesome on my potato so I decided to add it!

Don't those just look so yummy? They are and here is how I made them. I bake my potatoes in the microwave, just quicker for me, and then scoop out the centers into a bowl. I mashed them up with butter, shredded sharp cheddar cheese and about a cup of sausage crumbles. I then scooped my mashed mixture back into the skins and popped them back in the oven for a few minutes.
They are filling and so, so tasty! Easy too!
Now be sure and come back tomorrow because I have another recipe to share using my Jimmy Dean Crumbles, this time a breakfast dish that is sure to satisfy everyone!
I love loaded baked potatoes, especially with Jimmy Dean sausage!!
