Product Review: Skylanders Giants PS3

Check it Out!  In our family, gaming is a norm.  My boys love it and would play ALL day, every minute of the day, if they could.  They will play pretty much any platform.  That is why I was excited to be able to check out and introduce them to the Skylanders Giants via Wolf Bloggers and Best Buy.
So we headed up to Snellville, which was the closest Best Buy to us that was hosting the Skylanders Giants Demo.  We found the display and we found the PS3 demo station, but unfortunately they didn't have the Skylanders Game in the system and we weren't able to play the demo.
We looked for an employee to set it up, but were unable to find one that wasn't super busy so we just checked out the figurines and the game in store.
The had a great little Kiosk with a display and actual figurines displayed too.

What we learned was that Skylanders Giants is all about bringing Toys to Life via the magic of the game system.  By simply placing the figurines on a "Portal" you instantly bring that toy to life right on the game.  And what is super cool is that these toys have brains!  Yes brains!  They can be used cross platform, meaning you can play your figurine on a PS3 system and then on your friends Wii if you want and all your figurine info and level ups are saved.
These are some cool looking figurines too, some that have eyes that light up and others light up when placed on the portal, such a huge variety.   And don't worry, you don't have to have them all to play, you can play the whole game with just one figurine if ya wanted to.
Since the fire my kids lost their game systems and once we get into a home, we will replace them all and the boys can't wait to get some Skylanders Giants as well!
If your interested in checkin out the Skylanders Giants demos, just head over HERE and click on in store demos to find a location near you.  You can also check out all the Skylanders Giants products and get more info.
*I have been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card in return for this review, however all opinions are my own.
