My Review:
I have never read a Beth Wiseman book before , but I will say I am now a fan! This is an amazing story, full of issues that any family could be facing, even your own.
After moving to a small town to escape the big-city problems, the Henderson's find that changing locations doesn't always change the problems. I like that this is such a relateable story, a mom with insecurities, a dad with preoccupations, kids with real problems and secrets all around. From learning disabilities to the dangerous new practice of cutting, these are real issues and how this family has to deal with them. Faith, the one constant is their saving grace. This is a wonderful story for any mom or teen facing similar problems because it has such a wonderful message. God does give second chances, you just have to believe. 2 Thumbs Up!

I loved this book as well. Very realistic portrayal of the struggles of marriage and raising a family. Despite all the difficulties the characters face, the book overall is very hopeful, and I think most readers will be able to relate to the problems. It would also be a helpful book for someone who wants to understand what goes on in the mind of a teen who seems “perfect” on the outside but is dealing with life’s pressure in a very unhealthy way. Great book!
