These are indeed super simple tools that are effective in building a stronger relationship with your kids and for bringing your family closer to each other and to God's love.  We can change the course of our children's lives with the power of our words. 

Words are so powerful and are so long lasting.  Choosing your words, choosing your tools is important in raising kids.

I got so much from this book that I can add to my parenting toolbox and highly recommend it to any parent, new or not.  We are never to old to learn new tools and Dr. Cartmell's 8 Simple Tools for Raising Great Kids is an easy way to learn.
