Tuesday Tip - How to Hide your Valuables in Plain Sight

Check it Out!  With all the technology these days, pretty much everyone has a collection of devices.  Cell phones, tablets, laptops, gaming systems and more.  Keeping all those devices safe can be a issue.  If you are looking for a way to hide some of these devices in plain sight I have a super easy and cheap tip for ya, binders.

Above is a photo of a bookshelf in my home.  Nestled among all those books is a $300 tablet hidden in the white binder.

I found a stack of these binders at my local Habitat for Humanity Restore for $0.10 a piece. I got some one inch wide binders as well as a few of the 3 1/2 inch wide binders all for less than $1!  I have seen them at Goodwill as well.

Tablets and cell phones will fit right into the pockets inside.  For larger devices, you can just set them inside while on the shelf.

You can also disguise those gaming systems by simply laying the binder on its side and putting the system inside.  Wii, WiiU and Playstations will fit nicely inside of a 3 1/2 inch wide binder.

Place a label that says "Bills" or "Address Book" and add a few books on top and no one would be the wiser. You could also place the binders in the middle of your cookbooks with a label that says "Recipes" on it. You can hide so much right in plain sight!

Using these binders is a great and inexpensive way to conceal high dollar items while away from home for an extended period.
