Check it Out! I have been trying to concentrate on getting my dining room ready for the Thanksgiving Holiday that is coming up. With Delmar's health the way it is, I want to make each Holiday he has left amazing! So I am planning to cook the dinner and invite the family. I want my house to be festive starting with where I will serve that Thanksgiving dinner.
I have already started by creating my Fall Candle Jar Tablescape on my buffet side table. So now I want to focus on my dining table. Of course we gotta have some napkin rings so that is what I am gonna share today. I recycled cardboard tubes into these easy Fall Napkin rings.
My supplies were super simple.
- Cardboard tubes
- ribbon (preferably 1" wide)
- Fall leaves
- Twine
- Glue
Since I only have red cloth napkins right now, I chose a ribbon with all the fabulous colors of fall and would look good next to pretty much any color. Here is how I put them together.
To make this a super easy craft, I used the wide ribbon and cut toilet paper tubes to fit. Since these are cardboard tubes, they are easy to cut apart and you can get at least 2 rings per toilet paper tube.
I glued the ribbon to the tube ring, ran a piece of twine around the outside and glued it down. Then I simply added a fall leaf, a flower and a small berry sprig.
Since I used ribbon with so many wonderful colors in it, I was able to use a variety of flower colors so that my napkin rings were all slightly unique. And colorful! Love the colors!
Be sure and stay tuned, because I will be showing you how I plan to display these adorable napkin rings on my table in the coming weeks.
Oh how pretty are these and so resourceful!!!!
