Check it Out! I love Christmas! It is my favorite holiday. I love the decorations, the celebrations, the food, all of it! I guess sometimes I worry about the gift part but that is a whole other story! lol
I am ready to bring on all these traditions and I have the perfect movie for kicking off the holiday season to share with you today. Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas is all about putting Christ back into Christmas.
Opening in select theaters Nov. 14 for 2 weeks only, Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas will help you put all the holiday hoopla into perspective. It seems that with all the commercialism of the holiday, Jesus is taking a back seat and it's become unclear exactly what Christmas is suppose to be about. Kirk tells you and shows you how you can get back to what is important and enjoy the season with all of its trimmings. I really enjoyed this movie. I got to watch a pre-screening and I watched with my 14 year old daughter. Although she said it was a little boring, I caught her many times with her full attention on the screen! We learned so much about the facts behind Santa, gifts, and even Christmas trees. I have heard her twice repeating some of the things she discovered to her brothers so I know she got it too!
