I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Check it Out! I love crafting and I love adding new elements to my crafting. Elements like sounds and light. Discovering new ways to incorporate them is a challenge that I enjoy. I recently got a really interesting product via Tomoson that is really brightening up my projects!
I received some Rtgs Micro LED Battery Operated String Lights. And these are unlike any string lights you have seen before! Gone are the big bulky bulbs that are frustrating and not very attractive. These lights are very thin but intensely bright. The 20 very small LED bulbs are about the size of a grain of rice and they have a steady 360 degree viewing angle that illuminates in every direction. This strand is made from wire so it is bendable!
What I love is that they are battery powered. This allows me to use these lights in a multitude of ways that you just can't with ordinary strand lights. The small battery pack that powers the Rtgs Micro LED bulbs is easily hidden making it easy to outline picture frames and even put under a cabinet to create a back light.
I experimented with my light strand to see how many different ways I could use them. After realizing there are so many ways I now know I need more!

One of my first ideas was to add them to the inside of this really beautiful potpourri dish that I have. This dish sits on my buffet table in the dining room and other than being beautiful it is a little boring.
I simply placed the battery pack in the center of the bowl, added some glass stones to cover it and arranged the strand to fill the inside of the bowl.
I absolutely love the blue color that these lights emit. When used with new batteries they will last for over 48 hours and that makes them perfect for night lights! Night lights of all shapes and sizes!
I also created this fun and functional Flashlight Night Light using my Rtgs Micro LED String Lights and a Pringles can. You can check it out and see how I made it at http://thebrandconnection.com/create-a-night-light/. This craft is featured on The Brand Connection website this week!
You can get more information on these and all the fantastic products that Rtgs Products sell on their website at http://www.rtgsproducts.com. I can't wait to try these lights in some more projects!
