Treats for Veterans and Active Military this Nov 11

Check it Out!  It's November already and as we gear up for the holidays and shopping and gift giving, let's not forget that November 11th is Veteran's day and it's the perfect time to show our appreciation and support to those who have put their lives on the line so that we may have the freedom we enjoy everyday.  Many businesses have some freebies too!
Here is a list of businesses that are offering up some great rewards for this special day.
Food:

• Olive Garden -Free meal for Veterans on Nov. 11 and 10% off to family dining with them.  They also offer 10% off meals to active military and Veterans throughout the month of Nov.
• Applebees - On Nov. 11, Free meal from a limited menu - drink not included
• Golden Corral - On Nov. 11 from 4 - 9 pm Veterans get a free meal
• Chilis - Free meal on Nov. 11 from a limited menu
• On The Border - Free meal on Nov 11 from a limited menu
• Outback Steakhouse - Free Bloomin' Onion and Drink on Nov 11 along with 10% discount throughout the rest of the year
• Starbucks - Free Tall Brewed Coffee on Nov 11 for all former and active military and their spouses on Nov 11
• Krispy Kreme - Free Doughnut and coffee on Nov 11
• Red Robin  - Free Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries on Nov 11
• Hooters - Free meal up to $10.99 with purchase of drink on Nov 11
• Shoney's - Free All American Burger on Nov 11

And more!  If there is a specific restaurant that you love and it isn't on this list, I would recommend calling and asking about their participation on Veterans Day and if they are offering any deals or freebies.  Ya never know!

• Red Roof Inn - 15% off discount with Veterans Advantage Membership
• National Parks Service - Free park admission Nov 9 - 11

Be sure and check out your local businesses as well to see what they are offering up.  Oh and many museums and Hall of Fames have some great deals as well!
