Product Review: Nerf FireVision Football

Check it Out!  Finding things to keep my kids busy is a challenge these days.  We don't have any games or books to choose from anymore due to the fire, so they are limited to what they have, which is pretty much electronics.  I am all for them but I would love them to get up and active too so I was so excited when I got into the Nerf FireVision Sports BzzCampaign via BzzAgent!
Never heard of Nerf FireVision?  Well it's an innovative new technology called Microprism that allows you to see an illuminated ball while wearing a pair of FireVision Frames, special glasses that allow you to see it in the daytime, in dim lighting or in the dark!
I received the FireVision Football and here is what comes in the box:

Nerf FireVision Football retails for $19.99 and comes with 2 pair of FireVision Frames, 1 in red and 1 in green.  When wearing these special frames, you can see your ball light up when you play.  Depending on which color you have on, the ball actually glows that color and allows you to play in low light.

DJ set the frames on his camera and got this pick of the glow on the ball and it is even better when you have them on.  We love to throw the football back and forth in the pool so we have a water football but this is so much fun because you can send the kids out in the evening when it's cooler to play and they can stay out until well past dark playing and they are designed for kids 6 and up, so even the younger ones can play!  The light can be seen from over 100 feet and you can purchase additional pairs of frames for only $5.99 each.

My kids enjoyed this and even made up some games of their own.  They also discovered a cool indoor game and of hide n seek, by hiding the ball and having to find it in the dark with the frames.  Oh the batteries were even in there!
Nerf FireVision is also available in basketball form with the FireVison Nerfoop and in a FireVision Hyperbounce ball that looks super fun!
Nerf FireVision sports are available at stores nationwide and online at, and more.  And you can get more info on these and other Nerf products at

*I received the product in this post compliments of Nerf via BzzAgent for purposes of this review, however all opinions are my own.
