I am Ready to Gas & Go and #TrySnapshot via @Progressive & a #TeamFlo Swag Bag Giveaway #spon

Check it Out!  I not too long ago signed up to check out the Progressive Snapshot and right after the fire that consumed my home and damaged my van, I received my Snapshot in the mail.  I was excited to get started checkin' it out, but since my van had been damaged, I couldn't install it until it was done being repaired.  Well repairs turned out to take longer than expected, right at a month in total, so I was unable to install it until yesterday when I finally got my Nissan Quest back.
DJ got himself a good camera and has agreed to take photos for me until I can replace mine, so thanks to him, I have some pics to share.
Here is my Snapshot device before plugging in:
Finding the spot to plug it in was super easy and here is my Snapshot installed:

So this little device beeps when I start the engine and it also beeps when I brake too hard.  So while I am using this, it tracks the time of day I drive as well as the speed and how many times I brake hard.  I can even track my progress online for the 30 days that I am to use it.
So I am gased and ready to go and I will be keeping you all up to date on my progress as well.
As for now I have done an enormous amount of errands that require a lot of stop and starts and our temporary housing is a good 5 miles from town, so I will be traveling quite a bit in the next 30 days.
In the meantime, how about...

  2. Our best travel experience was driving cross-country from New Jersey to Arizona to move. We took 7 days to get there, stopping every night to rest, see the sights along the way and have fun!

  3. My best fun (of recent fame) was when we got to go to LA this summer, I missed an exit we were supposed to take to get to the Walk of Fame. We ended up touring Chinatown, Phillipine Town and Korean Town in the heart of downtown LA. But, my trusty GPS kept us moving until we got to the walk. But it was a bit harrowing at the time, but we laugh now. :-)

  4. My best fun was a few years ago when me and my brother went on a road trip with my mom. We intended to go to my uncle's house and it was only supposed to take 5 hrs. but ended up much longer than that. Rather than get frustrated, we talked and laughed and shared stories. Thanks.

  7. My favorite travel adventure was going to Roswell, NM. We saw the ranch where the crash occurred and the gift shops and themed restaurants about the incident. It was a really cool experience.
