Summer Reading Programs for Kids

Check it Out!  We finished up homeschool this week and are so ready for summer!  If your like me, you like to keep the kiddos reading over the summer and the first Saturday after public school lets out, we can head over to our local library and join their Summer Reading Program.  We never miss this, free rewards for reading, you can't beat that!  There are a bunch of free online reading programs as well so here is a list of  some of the Free Summer Reading Programs that are out there:
*Scholastic Summer Challenge - This is an awesome program, log reading times, win prizes! They also have a cool Reading Timer App you can get!
*Pizza Hut Book It! - A national reading incentive program with loads of resources.
*Half Price Books - 14 & under read 15 minutes a day, 300 minutes = $5 HFB Bucks
*Barnes & Nobles Summer Reading - complete a printable reading journal and take it a B&N store to get a selection from the Reading Journal list!
*Pottery Barn Kids Summer Reading Challenge - through 8/22, read all the books on the reading list and get a reward!
*Sylvan Book Adventure - grades K-8, read books and take quizzes on them to earn prizes.
