Book Review: God Gave Us Love by Lisa Tawn Bergren

God Gave Us Love
by:  Lisa Tawn Bergren

About the Book:
"As Little Cub and Grampa Bear’s fishing adventure is interrupted by mischievous otters, the young polar bear begins to question why we must love others…even the seemingly unlovable."

My Review:
God Gave Us Love is an amazing little book.  It is a sturdy board book that you can rest assured will be able to withstand the use from those tiny hands.  I am a huge supporter of starting kids reading at an early age and the younger the better.  This is the perfect book to make your child's first.
I was impressed with the depth of the story, as I thought it would only be a few words on each page, but this is a wonderful story of Little Cub learning about God's Love with the help of Grampa Bear and some pesky otters.
Little Cub learns the difference between different types of love and that even though you may not like that person very well, they and you are all children of God and Loved no matter what!  A heartwarming story that would be just magical told by a Grandparent.

*I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review, however all opinions are my own.
