My Thrifty Drugstore Deals - 8/7

Check it Out!  I headed out early this morning to Walgreens in hopes of snaggin' the Keri Lotion Deal but by 9:00am there were none.  Imagine my surprise to find out they were gone by 3:30am!   I don't know who in this world would need 10 bottles of lotion at 3:00am, but I only wanted 1, couldn't they have at least left 1 or 2?  Anyway, I was able to get some really great deals so it's all good! 

1st Transaction:

*Purex Detergent 33 loads- $1.99 sale - used $0.50 off coupon

*Gillette Fusion Pro-Glide Smooth Comfort Pack - $9.99 - used $4 off coupon - got back $4 RR

*Penway 2 pocket folder - $0.29 - filler

Total paid:  $4.27 - used $3.50 RR from last week - got back $4 in RR

2nd Transaction:

*2 Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste - 2/$6 sale -used 2 $0.75 off coupons - got back $4 RR

*Listerine SmartRinse - $3 sale - used $1 off coupon - got back $2 RR

*Penway 2 pocket folder - $0.29 - for filler

Total Paid:  $2.79 - used $4 RR from 1st transaction - got back $6 in RR

3rd Transaction:

*Gillette Fusion Pro-Glide Smooth Comfort Pack - $9.99 - used $4 off coupon - got back $4 RR

*Ban Deodorant - $1.49 with store coupon - used $1 off coupon

*Penway 2 pocket folder - $0.29 - for filler

Total paid:  $2.77 - used $4 RR from 2nd transaction

4th Transaction:

*Listerine SmartRinse - $3 sale - used $1 off coupon- got back $2 RR

*Aussie Mega Hair Spray - $3 sale - used $1 off coupon - got back $1 RR

*Penway 2 pocket folder - $0.29 - for filler

Total paid:  $2.29 - used $2 RR from 2nd transaction

Final Total paid for all 13 items that would have cost $40.12 was $12.12 and I have $5 in RR left over!

 And across the street at CVS, I got:

*LA Looks Sport Power Gel - $1.57 - used $0.75 off coupon + $1 off store coupon (from the magic coupon machine)

*3 Trident Layers Gum- $1 ea. sale - used $2 off 3packs coupon

*Goetzes Caramel Cremes- $2 sale

*CVS Children's chewable vitamins - $7.79

*CVS Daily Multiple Vitamins for Men - $7.29 - BOGOFree store sale

Total paid for all 7 items that would have cost $24.79 was $10.79 

So my trip this morning cost me $22.91 for 20 items that would have cost $64.91!  Well worth the effort!
