Check it Out!  If your looking for something to do on the 4th of July, Stone Mountain Park is always a great way to spend the day and ending it with the Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision and a spectacular Fireworks display is even better!  Right now you can save 30% on the Family Value Pass.  There are 2 options for purchasing:
The GOLD Family Value Pass- $149 plus tax and includes:
* Four all-attractions Adventure Passes to attractions like Summit Skyride, Sky Hike, YOGI BEAR 4-D Adventure, Scenic Railroad, Antebellum Plantation & Farmyard, Mini-Golf, Memorial Hall Museum and more.
* Four complimentary refillable cups good for unlimited refills of Coca-Cola beverages throughout the entire day of your visit.
*Four meal tickets redeemable at the following Stone Mountain Park restaurants with meal choices.
*Four Lasershow Snack Packages that includes:

-Seat on a newly restored terrace for the best viewing of the Lasershow
-Unlimited popcorn until the start of the show
-One Coca-Cola beverage

There are a few things to remember about Stone Mountain, particularly on the 4th of July:
*It is super crowded, so go as early as you can, get your parking space and your spot on the lawn
*If parking capactiy is reached, the gates will close and there will be no entry into the park, car or pedestrian
*There is no Free re-entry on 7/4, if you leave the park you will have to pay the $10 reentry fee to get back in
*Only the East & West Gates are open on 7/4

With all that said, Stone Mountain gives one of the best Fireworks displays that I have ever seen, combined with the laser show it makes for an incredible end to the all the 4th of July celebrations.
