What the DVD is about:
"In What’s in the Bible? volume 5, Buck Denver and cast take us through 1 and 2 Samuel. The two episodes focus on three of the most influential kings of Israel (Saul, David, and Solomon). And the Tricky Bits section explains the Trinity (after we learn that the Spirit of the Lord fell upon David). The DVD highlights God’s promise to David and how the promise impacts the salvation story. We also see what happens when David (and the other kings) sin against God. Kids learn that there are consequences for sin!"

My Review:
My kids are already huge Veggie-Tales fans, yes as old as they are they still love Veggie Tales!  So when we got the opportunity to review the 5th DVD in the "What's in the Bible" series, we were very excited.  So 4 of us watched it together and the overall first comment was, that was funny!  Full of the important lessons from the Bible, it also is full of humor and the fact that Phil himself appears in the video is a plus for my kids.  They love to see the author involved with their work.  The video is absolutely wonderful at making kids at any age understand the Bible better and the stories that are contained in it.  We really enjoyed the popsicle puppets, too funny!  And you can make your own What's In the Bible popsicle puppets when you GO HERE and you can GO HERE and get some great coloring pages and you can even view the trailer for the new movie when you visit the What's In the Bible UTube Channel HERE as well as watching clips from other What's in the Bible DVD's.   Be sure and check out What's in the Bible.com  to find curriculum and sign up for the newsetter and you can find them on Facebook and Twitter also.
