Spring Fun at Stone Mountain Park

Check it Out!  We LOVE Stone Mountain!  I have been going there since I was a child and love it even more that I can take my own children there to see all there is to see.  From the SkyHike to the Laser Show there is so much to do.

It seems like every year there is something new and there is always the classics, like riding the train and sky lift and visiting the Crossroads.  Here is a peek at some of the upcoming events and activities for Spring 2011:
*April 24 - Easter Sunrise Service Sunday :  Experience serenity and peace as the Stone Mountain Ministerial Association presents two simultaneous, non-denominational Easter services at the top of Stone Mountain and at the Memorial Hall Terrace. Park gates and Summit Sky ride open at 4am. Services begin at 7:00 am.  GO HERE for more details.
*April 28 thru May 1 (Thursday - Sunday) - Georgia Frontier Days:
Explore Georgia's past through hundreds of years of history with live demonstrations of pre-Revolutionary times, the pioneer era and the Civil War. An annual event that has become a favorite with students, educators and those interested in history, Georgia Frontier Days recreates the time when Georgia was America's western frontier. See a cavalry unit with horses in action, learn about weaponry, war strategy, battlefield medicine, frontier skills, cooking, music, clothing of the time period, and much more.  This historical journey makes an awesome Homeschool Field Trip!! 

*May 28 (Saturday) - Debut of the All-New Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision :
