Although I only got to preview of a portion of the book, I can definitely tell that this is a book that will become one of the classics in Home Economics. Written in a understandable and updated language but carrying the classic feel of a Home-Ec manual. I found many wonderful and easy to prepare meals and menus as well as good advice in a variety of subjects. The book is broken down into 4 sections that are each packed with essential knowledge and practical advice that can make maintaining your home very easy. I highly recommend this for the newlywed couple or the college grad setting up their first home and I think I want a copy for each of my kids!
