So as a first time homeschool mom I have to say that Math was my biggest fear and it did not go well in the beginning. Math is taught so much differently now than it was 20 years ago and I seriously struggled with workbooks and the fact that kids really hate bookwork! And since I have a 5th, 6th and 7th grader I had 3 frustrated kids. So, I was really excited when we got the opportunity to try out TenMarks. After only a few minutes of watching my children on the computer fully engaged and doing their math with no fusses I could tell I had a good thing here. What I find truly awesome about TenMarks that I have not found in other online math programs is the lesson videos. Every worksheet generated comes with a lesson video and when I had no idea what was being asked much less how to solve it, the wonderful video lesson taught it for me!yay! The learning is personalized to each child so my 7th grader is learning the curriculum he needs at the same time my 5th grader can get what she needs. Each week new worksheets are generated and my kids know when, how many and what date they are due, without me asking them to keep up with it. They are given the opportunity to correct wrong answers and they can even get hints when they are stuck. The weekly reports and notices of generated worksheets keeps me in the know and the reward zone helps to motivate the kids.
