The United States Mint has Free lesson plans to be used with their America the Beautiful Quarters Program available when you GO HERE. This program is a great way to teach the connection between that coin in your pocket and History! It's really cool and it's great for all grades K-12. Be sure and GO HERE to Check Out the H.I.P. Pocket Change Kids site for coloring pages and then GO HERE to get Lesson plans and other resources to learn all the facts about Veterans Day.
